Global Emissions by Economic Sector:
1)Electricity and Heat Production (25%)

Now that we have figured the culprits, we set our mission to create a to-do list and products to choose for each sector. We started with Electricity and Heat Production (25% of 2010 global greenhouse gas emissions): The burning of coal, natural gas, and oil for electricity and heat is the largest single source of global greenhouse gas emissions. What can we as an individual can do lower electric and heat production at home and at work.
We know that global warming is one of those topics which gets little or no attention from the public. We have to make war on global warming sexy and to do that we have tackled the issue from different angles. More electric consumption means higher electricity bill, and everybody wants to lower their electric bills. So we break down our electric bill at home and at the company.
